Which digital camcorder is the best?

Which digital camcorder is the best? I’m a 22 year ancient student, just going to use it for record-journaling, fun times sorta business. So it doesn’t need to be any professional grade business. Just, nice pictures and a excellent supply of memory.

(Also…under $ 200 if possible)

*If you have an analog (VHS) camcorder… or VHS-c…
You need an analog converter, any internal card or external such as the dazzle. It’s very simple to use and come with excellent software. You would hook your analog VHS camera or VCR to the analog converter, the dazzle and then hook the dazzle to your PC. The dazzle cost around 85.00 , but worth the money if you have a lot of VHS to tapes to convert.
Anytime you convert analog to digital, you will lose quality, but loss of quality is better than losing all persons ancient memories.

**Please Note There is no 8mm or Hi 8 to VHS Adapter that currently exists. This type of VHS Adapter only exists with VHS-C tape
