Q&A: I have an Olympus FE-190 camera. How do I erase a picture which keeps showing a green key in the upper corner?
When i press the play button to review all pictures, I try to delete some of them and a green key in a box shows up and flashes in the high right hand corner of the screen. What does this mean and how do i get rid of it?

It earnings the file is protected against deletion.
Look in the user manual to see how to unlock it.

Olympus brings the fun and freedom of digital photography home to everyone. Even if you’re not a technical whiz or don’t even own a computer, the 6.0 million pixel FE-180 makes taking and printing quality photos a real snap. With a “one button, one function” design principle that is supported by an on-screen help function as long as simple-to-know descriptions of camera settings, making fantastic photos is simplicity in itself. Getting them to paper is also a breeze. Prints can be made directly at home on a printer — without the need for a PC — as well as at numerous photo labs. And thanks to the FE-180′s high resolutions, even large-format photo prints are sure to come up a real treat. The stylishly calculated — FE-180 even features a metal front — and gracing their rear is a apparent and bright 6.4cm LCD that enables simple composition framing and instant viewing of results.
