Is the Canon SX110IS considered a professional camera?

Is the Canon SX110IS considered a professional camera?

I’m going to a concert tonight and it says only disposable and digital cameras are allowed.
Mine has about a 2-inch lens when you turn it on, so I don’t reckon it’s professional.

I didn’t know it was.

List reintroduced RAW image format with the G9, but I don’t reckon that would be why it would be considered a professional camera if it really is…

Answer by Stacy Lynn
Where did you hear it was?

Answer by foggy_idea
It is not a professional camera, it does have some features of a professional camera, such as manual controls over aperture, shutter speed and ISO, it also shoots RAW files, which is positively exclusive to professional (dslr) type cameras. many professionals use the G9 for personal shots, when they don’t feel like lugging along a huge camera.

Answer by Dory M
It’s not. It’s a very excellent point and shoot. But it’s also camera intended for public who might confuse price with quality. Compare the specs of the G9 with this additional List camera. Then compare the price:
