Which Canon digital camera is the best model?

Assuming Canon is a good brand to buy. Which is the best of them, and why if you know the why/differences between the Canon models. Thanks.
I like the silver ones, like the link on amazon for the black old fashioned looking model, I wouldn’t want that one so I guess it has to look good too?

Well, that depends on your needs, if you want something small and just point and shoot, then a powershot series would be the one, if you have enough money the s80 is a great camera, beyond point and shoot and it is small. it has many options that you can play with.

Try to get some video reviews in youtube, there you can have a better idea of this cameras.

i have the canon powershot sd1000, its pretty great
its in a shape of pack of cards and is ultra small

but canon came out with a newer, similar style – powershot sd1100
now 8.0mp, image stablization, and cool colors

Well the best is the Canon 1DS MKIII $ 8,000.00 body only.

For entry level SLR’s the Rebel XTi or XSi $ 600-$ 900

For point and shoot cameras I would look at the S series or the G series.

I am buying a new digital camera for the holidays and hoping to find great camera for great deal. These are the 3 I have narrowed it down to. I find the Nikon has nice layout, easy to use. The Canon has cool color swap feature- (i think) and the samsung 2 screens is neat. Not sure which is best to buy?
