Why won't my Samsung Digital Cam Shoot & Share Memory Camcorder charge?

Why won't my Samsung Digital Cam Shoot & Share Memory Camcorder charge?

I have a camera (it has not been used much). It is from samsung, and i don’t know if this earnings anything, but some number on it is “SC-MX20ER.” I tried charging it and it didn’t charge! I have used many different outlets, charged from the camera and the base, and left it (trying to) charge for a long period of time, but it won’t charge! I don’t want to buy a new camera, but I will if it can’t be fixed.

You should replace the battery. It’s not uncommon for rechargeable batteries to go terrible and/or periods of time without use.

I added a link to a generic brand. You can check for others if you may.
