I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.
The person needs to read alot of reviews on cameras and learn as much as they can from the internet.
Go to the store and hold them and try them to see what they feel like and how they take pictures.
I can only give a suggestion of what to look for in a new digital camera.

I have had the PENTAX Optio W10 (a slighty older version) for a few years now and I absolutely LOVE it!

I don’t know alot of technical things about digital cameras, but I’ll tell you what I’m looking for in a camera.
-Under $ 200
-Touch Screen
-Compact, Slim
-Good quality photos
-Can capture good quality video
-Takes sharp photos (My old camera takes blurry images even if you just barely move)
I’m planning to buy a camera on Amazon if that helps.
Please help and thank you.
I already have the Nikon Coolpix S4000 and I hate it lol. So please dont suggest this camera.

Nikon S4000. By far the best touchscreen camera ever. The control is easy and you don’t have to press down hard on the screen. The camera runs for about 179.00. Like all Nikons the quality is perfect.
