Pixillation on digital cameras?

Pixillation on digital cameras?

i have a Nikon Coolpix 8800 camera. It worked without fault for 2 years. Earlier this year I noticed i may maybe not enlarge a picture without reasonably a bit of pixillation occurring. I sent it in for repair and cleaning. It seemed improved somewhat but has again deteriorated. What may maybe be the cause? I am taking pictures at extra or high resolution and am only trying to enlarge the pictures to an 8 X 10. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

One small cut to pixillation is to take a picture in dim light. Many cameras drop the higher resolution for a lower one when they up the ISO. Try taking a picture in bright sunshine.

If it was working and quit, I’d try to back step over what I’d done to exchange things. This rarely works, so I just do a whole reset. The menu should help you do a whole camera reset.

When you look at the picture, what does the s/w say the resolution is? You can find that in the properties choice of the file menu of most s/w pkgs. If the image is somewhere around 3000×2000, then the camera is working like it should and you have an enlargement conundrum with your s/w pkg.

I recently sent my digital camera out and it says you can check the progress of your service/repair online. but when you go to check it it requires a service order number? anyone know where the number comes from? How do i know what to type in? https://www.nikonimagesvcapprove.com/reputation/ any help would be very helpful!!! thanks a bunch in advance. :D
