I would write “Best Buy/Retail Services” on the check and then call them to start getting paper statements or to reactivate my online account.

Best Buy —- even if you don’t write it to exactly the right name they can still cash it by signing it as you wrote it…so go with Best Buy and they can map it out!

Second, if he figures out it was you, he will alert the credit card company that his card was hit with a fraudulent charge and odds are excellent that the credit card company will come after you for an item as large as a TV.

Well question again when you get outta jail. When you commit a Felony, that’s a crime against the State, and they don’t have to drop charges even if your boyfriend do. Secondly If he gets mad he can hold it over your head for awhile. You don’t want or need that. it will be his if you get away with it, and if he proves you have it, he can rightfully get it back. Just be nice or should I say play honest.
