Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera?

How can I tell the difference between a digital camera and a single lens reflex digital camera?
Are these SLR cameras?

the ones on the walmart site are slr cameras. the difference between a digital and a dslr is that you can exchange the lenses on dslrs and digital cameras have fixed lenses.

All SLR cameras will have detachable lenses.
Go search for Nikon D4o, List Rebel Xti.

its single lens reflect…not reflex lol. only the last link has the DSLR cameras. A Digital SLR camera is the kind that you can switch lenses for. that is how i remembered in the beggining before I started to know what it meant. I dont know if you are looking for one, but if you are, get something thats in your budget. there are a lot of excellent digital point and shoot(anything that isnt SLR) cameras out there. I have an odler model of the List Digital rebel. looking to get a new one if I come about the funds haha. I personally like List. Rebel is the way to go for SLR. Its affordable, even if the Nikon cameras are pretty much the same price. I just don;t like the Nikkor lenses

SLR = single lens reflex.
The R is for reflex, you are incorrect.

Basically, the main differences between a fixed point and shoot camera, and them “professional” SLR cameras are…

1. The size : UH…i’m pretty sure that’ll be the first business you see. They are MUCH heftier.

2. Lenses : You can exchange lenses

3. Price : They cost more than point and shoots.

4. The “technical” reason: Single lens reflex earnings that there is a mirror (or multiple) that reflect the scene directly into the viewfinder. So, what you “see” is what you “get”. Then, when you press the button, the mirror flips up and the sensor captures the image.

Oh yeah, the walmart link is the one that contains the DSLR cameras. (and remember, they are D!!SLR cameras, so they are digital, disparate fixed SLR).
