Keep up the work List!

I’m trying to learn everything about this camera. I would prefer to get a List EOS Digital Rebel XSi, but it seems as though that is in the very distant future. So for the time life, I’d like to make do with the SD750. Does anyone have any tips to help me get the best shots?

You can take professional shots with ANY camera.

The camera is just a tool. It's like saying the Mona Lisa was incredible because of the type of paintbrush that was used or Michael Jordan was fantastic because of his sneakers.

Keep learning, take lots of pictures, and keep involved and trying new things! If the camera made the photographer, there sure would be a lot more pros out there!

Some of the best photographs I ever captured were with my Kodak Easyshare 6440. So many public are disappointed when they spend hundreds or thousands of dollars buying cameras and gear and find out that all that stuff doesn’t make them a photographer. I would recommend checking into a book titled, How to Photograph Absolutely Everything, by Tom Ang. He demonstrates how to use a “cheap” point and shoot type camera to take very professional looking images. I would also recommend, using the SD750 until you have perfected your composition skills before looking to upgrade to a more capable camera. Remember, anyone can take excellent pictures with a cheap camera, it takes an expensive one to really screw them up.
