Check with Fry’s on the opening time. You might question them…they are probably aware of when the public start lining up.

Cheese Fries

So, we went and got our Philly Cheese Steaks and accompanying Cheese Fries after going to the Franklin Center. I can’t choose whether they look scrumptious or tragic here.

okay so i have like 2female and 1male in a tank. before i knew it 1female already were gathering frys and now the additional female has laid eggs on the wall of the tank. the male ditched the first female for the additional one. and my question is when should i feed the fries. i have brine shrimp ready and small crushed flakes…

I dont judge 2 females and 1 male is a excellent combo for the tank… But ok, whatever.
You want to feed them after they start free swimming. Because up until this point, they feed off their yolk sack. Crushed flake food should be fine for them.

after they become free swimming they’ll feed on the microscopic particles in the tank for a while, after a couple days I add a small bit of keenly crushed up flakes (still feed the parents though of course!) and they may eat some of it small by litte, after they get larger they’ll take it more and more (obviously), just dont place too much in or you’ll just be wasting it, they only eat the very very tiny bits of it

I have cichlids and I don’t reckon you need to feed them for a while. They’re so tiny, they can probably find all the food that they need, like algae and tiny leftovers from what the huge fish eat.

well, you should start feeding the fry when they start to go around by themselves or when the parents start to ignore them.

I raise convict cichlids, and additional types of fish such as albino oscars etc.

I have liquid fry food, that I give them, just a few drops….When they are free swimming on their own, then I start with very very tiny amounts of ground up flakes for cichlids…after bout 2 weeks I remove them from the first tank they are in. To a tank of their own, and continue feeding them, they get a small liquid fry food, and crushed food as well.

I have never had a conundrum with any of the fry dying etc.

I’ve been raising them now for over 10 years.
