I got a Kodak Easyshare For about 100.00 and it’s fantastic and has all kinds of features and take fantastic pics. If you need a battery for your camera you can get one for cheap at www.needbattery.com they have the lowest prices on the net.

so i bought this during Sitex 2008.
managed to get to watch HD direct and digital tv~!!!
it also managed to get normal free to air tv in singapore.

but i realized its not for me. so i’m gonna sell it off. mostly because its not supported by any additional open source projects. bummer.

originally bought at SGD9

any takers?

I plot to spend upto $ 600 for a camcorder with excellent picture quality and one that’s able to upload record to my computer for control. Can I get some opinions about the different options…i.e. DV, ones that use the small tapes or the mini DVDs? I have read that the mini DVDs are impossible to copy and transfer to a computer for control, so I’ll most likely avoid that kind.

I was looking at the Sony DCR-HC36 but it’s got really mixed reviews.

Any suggestions?

Zi8: Cheap, Simple, and Awesome (README) ▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼ richardstep.com BLOG POST wp.me I’d like to do a review on the Kodak Zi8. And I have to apologize because I don’t have two of them. So I have to switch over to my Sony Handycam ECRDVD405, which I really do not delight in using at all. But without further ado, let me switch over. PROS: – excellent record quality – simple to use and small – approximately 50 minutes on one battery charge – bendable, flip-out USB connection (disparate rigid flipcam / minoHD version) – HDMI connection – external microphone input / jack – decent on-board audio quality – removable SD memory card – excellent resolution choices: 1080p, 720p (60fps and 30fps), and WVGA – turns off quick – macro background simple and on top CONS: – low-light situation induced vertical / purple / red / pink lines in 720p mode – no real control over picture quality – automatic to the extreme – back-side of camera gets hot after extended use – image stabilization is useless – case a bit too bendable and record aberrations noted if manhandled excessively – no LCD to verify excellent shot framing – record reputation LED is annoyingly placed, bright, and red – metal strap piece will scratch the case / housing ASSESSMENT: – Buy it now! More stats: – 1080p (30fps) or 720p (60fps) recording – Up to 32GB SD or SDHC card compatible – 5-MP HD still image mode – Image stabilization – Face recognition – HDMI cable built-in – Swing-out USB arm – 2.5-inch LCD screen – Audio port for
