Q&A: If you pre ordered a game from best buy's website and it is getting sent but what if it is backordered?

I was just wondering because i ordered a game. Pokemon White is the game that i pre ordered from best buy. If i pre ordered it would i be the first one to recieve it because i pre ordered or does it not really matter. Like are they going to save me one then ship it 2 my house? I am wondering and am not sure because i think it is going 2 be a number 1 seller. If they got shipped out to all the stores and is backed ordered do you get one on the next shipment? Or do you get one right away when it arrives at the warehouse?
Like do they reserve the game 4 if you pre order it? Because my friend pre ordered it and his was reserved on gamestop, when soul silver came out. u then send it to you or do they send it whenever they got it in? I also put in express shipping!

You should recieve an email when your order is ready for you to pickup or they would send you an email with tracking number when it is shipped.

We bought our campervan from Antony at Chester Street Backpackers in Christchurch for NZ ,550 (approximately US ,970). It’s a 1988 Toyota Town Ace ‘Super Extra’ with about 275,000 km (about 170,000 miles) on it and more than a few dents in the sides and front, which we think give the van character.

It’s fairly common practice for travelers to buy old vehicles here and use them to tour the country, then turn around and sell them to a fellow traveler to do the same. We’ll be looking to sell our van right around the start of summer here, which is apparently the best time to sell a van because of the high demand. Our hope is that we can at least make back the money we paid for it. We had to pay cash for the van, so we hung around Christchurch for several days withdrawing the daily maximum from the ATM until we could get enough cash.

It didn’t come with any cooking equipment, so we were told we should go to a place called the Super Shed to find what we needed. It was described as the last stop before the dump, a place for people to bring household items that they would otherwise throw away. Many items are also salvaged from the trash and cleaned/polished/fixed up. Based on these descriptions, I was pretty hesitant to go there to purchase the items we’d be using to prepare our food. I pictured a huge warehouse with piles of trash that we’d have to pick through. Seth, on the other hand, was thrilled by the prospect of such a place and convinced me that we should take a look.

He was totally right. Although everything needed a thorough scrubbing, we got some incredible bargains and walked out with all of our cutlery and an organizer, two kitchen knives, bowls, plates, cups, mugs, a can opener, a bottle opener, a straw basket, two camping chairs and a sun umbrella for a grand total of .50. My personal favorite section was the ’10 items for ‘ aisle. None of the outdoor furniture had a price on it, so you had to just find an employee, show them what you had picked up, and they would eyeball a price. We still had to purchase some cookware that we weren’t able to find at the Super Shed, but we left that place with huge smiles on our faces.

What are my chances of getting a supervisor position at Best Buy? What experience level do they look for? I’m trying to get my foot in the door in an actual title-bearing position of low-level management. Do I have enough experience to do so at a Best Buy?

2009 – Present I am basically a Keyholder Sales Associate. I’m not a manager by title, but I run the store by myself for 8+ hours a day on some days. I close the store down alone, do all the deposits, restocking, setting the alarm, etc.

2008 I worked for Circuit City as a Sales/Warehouse Associate.

2005 to 2007 I worked for an Office Depot starting out as a sales associate. I eventually cross-trained in all departments and was promoted to the equivalent of a Sales Lead before my first year there. I ended up leaving with very short notice due to an issue in my family. The store manager was on vacation for a while, and the other managers stole my written notice and made it look like I just “left” basically. So that’s a bit of a sketchy reference to give, but my job title, tasks and promotions are still documented.

2004-2005 I worked for a Cinema Cafe basically as the equivalent of a Customer Service manager, but at associate pay. They closed and gave no separation notices, so there is no “evidence” at all as to my working there or job title.
Yeah, but their silly little personality test is easy…

So getting near 100% on that and having experience to go with it should help more, I would think.

Unfortunately, most employers especially in retail put more weight on the pre-employment personality test than your education or qualifications….and then we wonder why American capitalism is in the shape that it is in? Employers only won’t to hire extroverts who just go along with the flow.
