Is a 1.3 Megapixel Camcorder good?

Is a 1.3 Megapixel Camcorder good?

I just got this Camcorder from a yard sale, it is this one here http://www.amazon.com/Mattel-J2130-Vidster-Digital-Camera/dp/B0009VRRFG/sr=8-1/qid=1166366021/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-0772704-5444921?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games
but the resolution just Sucks!

Is there a way I can improve it? Like amp up the megapixels? Also, what are some good movie editing softwares, besides Windows Movie Maker and Apple’s iMovie?

1.3 megapixel is good enough for me… you only need a higher megapixel if you want to make it a poster or enlarge it..

you can use ACDSEE PRO to edit your pictures.. you can resize photos by file size or resolution …

just got one too, although a different model. it’s new and has 1megapxl capability for shooting still photos, not video. and this memory/resolution feature is only good enough to send attached pictures/jpgs via email and/or for viewing on a monitor/computer screen. it’s not enough to be able to print nice 8×10 or even 4×6 photos without faking the resolution by means of software programs like photoshop.
it should be fine for making amateur videos and maybe more but a good digital camera it is not.
movie wise, i always heard the final cut editing software is a very good product.

What do you think? Answer below!

Any decent Photo store will be able to advise you, you will need the diameter of the lens & adaptors for most makes are available, I use a fisheye on my own camera & it works well though my lens has a screw thread for filters etc.Having had a quick look at it it seems to have a screw thread on the lens so you should have no problem finding a fisheye attachment to fit, as I said, try a decent photo store for further advice.
