is it good if i feed newly hatched frys frozen brine shrimps?

is it good if i feed newly hatched frys frozen brine shrimps?

my bettas were spawning and now they have eggs. im wondering if frozen brine shrimps are excellent to feed the betta frys right after they hatch because i can’t seem to find microworms.

well i reckon it takes about a week for the fry to be free swimming, and thats when they need to eat. have you taken the female out? if not, do that right a way. well you still have time to start a green water culture… get a jar fill it with water (i would use tank water) then place some dead leaves in the water then place it in full sun. when the water turns green that is when i reckon you take the leaves out. im not positive if what you do next is right but this is what i have herd; you take a coffe filter to strain the water and the small things in the filter should be the small organisms thaty you feed to the fry

Most of the fry will be too small to eat the newly hatch brine shrimp – at best, you shouldn’t start feeding these until the fry have been free-swimming for about a week, and by then, they need something else for food.

You may maybe make an infusoria culture, but this takes about a week to do. You would add a lettuce leaf to a large (quart size or larger) jar, along with boiling water. When the water cools, add some of the “gunk” from the bottom of the tank, and wait for the water to get cloudy – these are the things your fry would eat. But if you already have eggs, you won’t get a very mature culture in the time you have.

Do you have another tank with gravel? You might be able to transfer some of the gravel (along with some gravel siphonings) and place it along the sides of the tank with the fry, but you don’t need to do this until a few days after the eggs hatch – the fry won’t eat until they start to swim, at which point you should remove the male from the tank.

In the future, you might want to get a culture of microworms or vinegar eels (you’ll nearly need to buy any of these online, or get them from another hobbiest) ahead of time, and have them ready before you place your bettas collectively to spawn.

Yes, it should be fine. Just make sure to thaw it so it doesn’t freeze their small throats.

really, they were my fries.

and my vanilla shake too.

mmmm!! deeeelicious! :D !

i have a power supply i’m not sure if it’s working or not. When i plugs it and turn on the computer, the fan moves for a second and then stop. i switch off and on, and turn it on again. same business happens.
is it like a power supply stoppage or a motherboard related stoppage?

if i go to frys and question them to test if it’s working or not, do you reckon they will test it for free?

Answer by MaskedMusketeer
Most computer shops will test it for you for free. All they do is simply plug your PSU into a power supply tester — you can easily buy one of these for $ 20, a excellent tool to have in your toolkit.

What do you reckon? Answer below!
