help choosing camera?

Im planning on getting a digital camera and ive narrowed it down to two i could really use some a review from people who have used them.

Im leaning towards the Canon PowerShot A495
as it has some good reviews and was on ABC7 news as the best video quality of some digital cameras which is what im going for.So if you’ve used one could you tell me the quality of the video/pic’s and the camera its self.

I have a canon power shot i am not sure which model, i have had it for 3 yrs now and i still love love love it! Some friends have had other cameras that are highly rated and they take terrible pics compared to mine. My husband is a musician and I use the camera on a nightly basis and use the pictures for their website. Very high quality, great resolution, the red eye and photo editing works great, the battery lasts forever and I have never had to replace it.

I do photography on the side as a hobby and canon will be the only brand I buy from here out. I have a few others and they did not last and did not have the quality pics that this camera offers.

you can’t compare a “Canon” and a “Fujifilm” is like comparing a toyota and a lamborguihi, buy the canon, no matter if it has less megamixels (between 10 and 12 megapixels, you wont notice the diffeence, by the way, 10 megapixels is too much, you will want to reduce the megapixels because believe it or not, pictures with less megapixels are better, why? take a pic with 10mega pixels thenwith 5 megapixels, zoom both of them up and tell me about it)

Canon is the best brand i have ever used. when it comes to cameras, the brand matters.
