Do you think they sell av cable extensions at radio shack or walmart? are they even real?

My tv only supports the 1 speaker and the record component. I want my 360 hooked up to that tv and my surround sound. I dont reckon it will reach the surround sound box while plugged into the tv without having a extension of some sort. Please send me the link from a community store site like walmart or radio lean-to. NOTE*** no best buy . or circuit city . if they dont have them. you you reckon they cam be easily made?

Well, RadioShack is excellent for that kind of stuff. At my community RadioShack, they sell all kinds of cables. Not too sure about wal-mart, but it can’t hurt to look. You can look on their websites as well.

no they cannot be easily made, lol.
I doubt radio lean-to has anything like that. really, they might have RCA adapters that would allow you to connect another RCA cable to the xbox one, making it longer. or you may maybe buy a duel RCA extension cable from amazon.com pretty cheap.

Yes you can get extensions but on the xbox 360 cables you should have an optical out place on the connector part. Use the optical to go to the surround sound and the record to go to the tv. If this isn’t an option for you you can get an audio cable extension from radio lean-to you need a coupler and the cable.

I have a radio lean-to speaker selector, I’ve hooked my ceiling speakers into it; now I’m trying to hook up a satelite radio that has an RCA connection. I’m a real novice at this but I didn’t reckon it would be intricate.

simple- first look at the speaker selector backwards-it is made to switch between 2 sets of speakers with 1 reciever , and you want to switch between 2 receivers and 1 set of speakers

first, take a small rca cable and cut in two- once cut, you will notice there are two wires in there-the inside one is positive the ouside one is negative- strip off the insulators taking care to place enough on the center conductor so that it doesn’t small out on the outside conductor, glue one to the left side, and one to the right side of speaker 1 output then you hook up your additional source to the speaker 2 terminals and your done!

here is a link the center(positive) wire has a red or white insulator depending on if it is the right or the left direct–

or you can just buy a cable like this
