My Olympus FE-20 monitor is black and blank how do I fix this?

I have an Olympus FE-20 monitior/screen is black and wont show anything even if the features work and everything and im still able to take picture, it will come out black please does anyone know how to fix this.

Broken rear LCD. It would be best to buy a new camera instead. Repairs are more costly.

I have an Olympus FE-240. I want to be able to take panoramic pictures, but on the menu that option (along with scene) is currently ghosted and I cannot enable that option. I have read online that you just need the Master software (which I installed on my computer) and an xD picture card (which I also have).

you must have it in the incorrect mode
the manual will tell you which mode to use
probably the landscape mode
