Does the Canon camera SD780 IS have 1080p HD for video?

what does it have? is it better than the SD1200 IS?

The SD780 IS can record videos in high definition (1280×720)…but, not Full HD, which is 1920×1080.
The SD1200 can only record video in VGA quality of 640×480.

Both the SD780 IS and the SD1200 IS have very similar specs, but I would say (mainly because of it’s ability to record HD video) that the SD780 IS has the edge.

If it has a mini-HDMI port then there is a cable for that, but otherwise just the A/V cables.

Your camera has both a HDMI connector (you will have to buy the cord) and an A/V connector (that cord comes with your camera)
