Digital Camera to Camera Video picture viewing?

I want to buy my mom a digital camera (simple one). I want to take record and pictures on my camera and then send her the SD card so she can see them on her camera. Do I have to stay within the same brand (samsung) or do I have to have the same exact camera? I tried to do this from my samsung to kodak and it didn’t work.

To be safe, use the same camera model. To do better, view through the computer.

You cannot do what you suggest. Each make of camera saves photos and videos in ‘native’ format which is different to each make (and sometimes model). It may not even be possible to view pictures taken on one model of a particular camera on another, identical, model. You would be far better uploading to a file sharing site and letting your mother see your pictures that way. Seeing pictures and record on a small camera screen is not the way they are meant to be viewed.

i have Rayovac 2000 mAh rechargable nickel batteries in my camera and they die within a day. i like taking pics and videos, but my camera dies so quick. does anyone know why or what type of battery i should use instead??

you need a different brand
rayovac is not one that I would choose
also you need to get 2700′s and not 2000

consult the closest camera dealer,,, use the most powerful batteries & start fully charged. Also how many pictures are you getting on one charge. some cameras differ from others. Samsung is excellent product.

find batteries that have better mAh.

For example PowerEx rechargeable have 2700mAh and will last a bit longer.
