I suspect that you are not looking to spend $ 10,000 on a camera and lens, though. Check out the Canon Powershot S3 IS. It’s fantastic for zooming in on stuff. You may still find some S2′s out there. My daughter has an S2 and likes it.

u can never go incorrect with a Canon Powershot

Canon A430 $ 150 i have one it’s the best camera that i’ve had.
it’s very each to run i learned how to use it the 1st day.
fantastic zoom, fantastic barttey life, you can plug it in your tv , use it at a webcam. video heading. the sparkle on that baby so excellent you can take a pic in pitch black room and pics will look like you took
it in the day time.

The Red One Camera at NAB 2007. There was an hour long wait to see the video Peter Jackson made with the two Red One Alpha cameras. 4k on a Sony 4k projector and it looked excellent.

The very best digital cameras now cost 20 times more than your budget. Check out the Hasselblads and Mamiyas to have and thought of what truly is described as “The Best”.

With your money, the best you can get is a dSLR. Get the most expensive you can afford for maximum satisfaction and bragging rights. Never mind of you don’t know how to use one. With some luck, you’ll get photos fit enough to take in a magazine.
