Can this camera take double A batteries?

Can this camera take double A batteries?

I am comparing digital cameras and I cannot find anywhere if it is possible for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ4K to take double A batteries. I see a rechargeable battery that I could buy, but I want a camera that I can use double A batteries in if the rechargeables are having issues.

I’ve been looking and looking at cameras and reckon I may have found one so could someone help me out and let me know if this camera takes double A batteries and your source.

Thanks.

Try Steve’s Digicams, there are reviews and specs of hundreds of cameras. If the Lumix doesn’t have what you want tryh the Canon A series cameras, they use AA and are fantastic cameras. I have the A460 and I am extremely pleased with it.

3.7V battery is needed – per panasonic web site – cant get double a to provide that and shape of battery compartment precludes use of a, aa, or aaa. SO- No must use CGAS007A/1B Lithium-Ion Battery

I am mostly a D-SLR user and I want to buy a … more compact digital camera that is still as versatile yet not too expensive. Delight try to equate between my two candidates: the Panasonic DMCFX100K and the Canon Powershot A650 IS. (Unless you have a CLEARLY better choice.)

Both have larger sensors than most P&S cameras. The Canon edges out the Panasonic in the area of optical zoom, but is behind the Panasonic when it comes to by state of the art Li-ion batteries.

Otherwise they are both fine cameras … both have brilliant lenses (Leica … on the Panasonic and Canon on the Canon)

okay my parents have the canon i like it but it is just too huge my sister has the Panasonic its a whole lot better but if your looking for something more compact but still takes fantastic pictures i would go with the canon sd-750 or sd-1000 both fantastic cameras my sd-750 fell out of my pocket at a gas station and i estimate i ran over it so now i have the sd-1000 no difference both fantastic cameras but the sd-750 has a massive screen.
