When i film a video from my digital camera and zoom in, the sound cuts out. Is there a way to prevent this?

I have the Samsung ST550 Digital Camera.

It may be a “feature” to preclude the signal of the zoom motor interfering with the video.

If you can, instead of zooming, use feet to go nearer.

People like by contradictions in terms… you certainly did. Read your question again and see if you can pick it out. “film a video?” Come on, these devices record. Film is in Hollywood.

Doubtless no way to change it.

I rest my case. If you had carefully researched this camera before export you’d have renowned this and doubtless gone for something else. Make sense?

Nope. It is the camera. If you don;t like it you are going to need to buy a new one that doesn’t do it.

okay, my camera isn’t working! It turns on but the screen is completely black! It records but all it records is black! I constantly check to make sure the lens is off, so it’s not that…I don’t know what is incorrect with it…delight help!

Ok, If it records black and when you plug it into your TV or computer it still shows black then the CCD of your camera is defiently terrible. If the CCD is terrible unless it can be repaired for free then you are out of luck. A CCD is the most vital part of the camera that takes in the set alight and colors and converts them to video. Samsung has had a lot of CCD problems though and a lot of the time will repair them for free. I got a new one (cheeper model though) when my 2 year ancient camera just broke. Try calling samung at 1-800-SAMSUNG Excellent luck!! Oh, also make sure to have your serial digit and model digit handy ( found on bottom of camera) when you call.
