What do you do the stuff you record on a digital camcorder? Save it to your hard drive?

The last camcorder I had was VHS and I recorded a tape and then played it on my VCR. How do I watch my movies that I record with a digital video camera?

Transfer to your hard drive via USB or Firewire, depending on your camcorder. Usually they come with some sort of software for transferring and editing. Burn to DVD, and there you go!

You can place it on a CD or DVD or a LARGE hard drive. Movies take up a lot of space, memory. About 50meg per minute.

If you have a DVD burner, this would be best. To convert to a CD requires a program on your computer. To just load on your hard drive you should have a separate drive, preferable an external drive.

To watch what you record you should have a cable that connects from camera to tv input.

The stuff that your recorded should be uploaded to a computer. I recommend that you get those huge backup drives that has a memory of 120 gigabytes and upload it into the backup drive. If you upload 1 hour of videos to your computer, will defintiely run out of memory on your computer.

You use a firewire or USB cable to transfer it to the computer. Then you can edit it and burn DVDs.

OkAY so my hard-drive is placed out from a computer person and i wanna save my digital camcorder videos so i can edit them for youtube but u need a cd, i got it but i cant use it… HELP!?

There are video files that will load to a computer via a USB 2.0 Cable..

Then there’s the Palmcorder device that utilizes a Firewire Tie..ieee1394/

USB 2.0 is not..

The computer that you use for video creation should have a Pentium Processor..or higher..
1-GB of RAM..or higher for todays newest OS..like 2-GBs of 800-MHz RAM/

The HDD that is used for System C:/drive must be 7200-rpm..
..and all the other HDD’s in the computer must also be 7200-rpm..
