How do you shoot in black and white on a Nikon coolpix S210?

I have a Nikon coolpix and I know there is a way to adjust the settings so I can shoot in black and white, but i cannot figure out how to change it! Please help!

You should be able to go into the Menu and there should be a color setting somewhere. Read you owners manual.

first go into the taking picture mode where you can actually take pictures and see what your taking before you take it press mode, and then find color options, then change it into black and white, press mode again to go back adn that should do the trick! (= sepia looks nice too!

i purchased a used Nikon Coolpix S210
off ebay and charger and usb cord not included. I also just purchased a separate usb cable and im wondering if i can do without the charger or not

Many appliances can charge via USB —MP3′s, mobile phones, satnavs, but I’ve never seen a camera that can.
Unfortunately you’ll need the charger and should have been sold it along with the camera.
The battery is removed from the cam and charged in the separate charging unit. The part number you need is Nikon MH-63 and it’s not cheap, Maybe you could get one on ebay as well. Make sure you also receive the power lead for plugging into the electric socket.

Contact the seller, maybe they still have the charger?

The USB lead is most likely camera-specific as well

You can dowload a manual for the camera from Nikon.

Most probably not. Ask computer shops, cellphone shops and photo shops for a compatible replacement charger.
