Where is the best place to get a Canon GL2 DV camera?

I am looking for a new GL2 Camera, and prices vary widely across the web, so I am looking for a reputable dealer with good prices.

I would say the best reputable dealer out there is B & H (www.bhphotovideo.com). Beware of some sites that have a super low price as they are almost always grey market (from another country and no warrenty) and probably a scam too. There are also some good dealers such as the one I have included in the source section below, where you can get the camera at a good price along with some lenses (wide angle and fish eye) and a case. This is also a good deal so long as you buy form some one with good feedback, and a place that has an actuall company name and phone number. Good luck. Oh, P.S. there is a rebate (i bleieve 200) till the end of this month on the gl2.

Taken with the "capture still" feature on my Canon GL2 camcorder.

the Canon website has it for $ 2,800 new, so i was thinking about selling it for around $ 1,400(half the price) including the lens i bought for it, the bigger battery, and a shotgun microphone as well.

it’s in good shape… the ONLY thing “wrong” with it is the little eyecup has a pencil eraser-sized hole in it. But it comes with a larger eyecup as well, and the hole doesn’t impair anything.

how much do You think i should list it for?
