How to transfer photos from Kodak EasyShare to flashdrive?
I want to place my photos from my Kodak EasyShare software onto a flashdrive (I have about 6000). How would I do this?
Answer by Caoedhen
Simple… plug a sparkle drive of sufficient capacity into any available USB port on your computer, open the file administrator of your choice, and copy away. Pretty simple stuff.

That is right, you can copy directly to your flashdrive, but you really need to place those image files on your hard drive as well.
What worries me is that you have 6000 images on one card. Event 600 are too many.
That tells me that you are by your camera at too too low a resolution. And that you are not photocopying your images to your computer at the end of the day and formatting the card. Your method is nearly asking to have the memory card be converted into corrupt.
Raise the resolution of your camera to its highest possible setting and then at the end of each day shooting, copy them to your computer for safe keeping and then by the format feature on you computer, format the card, refreshing it.

I just bought a new Kodak easyshare camera and I have an ancient one. The one is a Z760 and the new one is a M893. Do I need to upload the software that came with the new camera to upload the pictures? Will uploading the new software erace all my ancient pictures from the ancient software?

It’s up to you.
If you want, you can keep by your ancient version of EasyShare software.
Or if you prefer, grab the latest version from Kodak’s website. Each so often, they’ll add a new feature. It’s not worth updating for each single version, but after a few being the improvements do add up.
Updating (or even deleting) your EasyShare software will NOT rub out your photographs.

This is a small and informal review of the Kodak EasyShare v610 digital camera. You’ll have to excuse the lower overall quality of this video. I shot it this past Sunday, during a very hectic weekend. I had a limited quantity of time at my disposal, I was rushed, and it shows. But at least I managed to get my points crosswise, and I’m pleased about that. You can read the full review at raoulpop.com/2007/12/16/camera-review-kodak-easyshare-v610-dual-lens/.
