Why do professional movie makers use film rather than Video to shoot their movies?

Video is less expensive and simpler to work with. With film you have to convert it to digital video in ordr to edit it, then back to film, right? why do they make it so expensive and trying when it can be so cheap and simple to get the same effect? I mean I could go down to target or best buy or walmart and get a top quality camera for at the most, around $ 600 and the have these $ 3000 cameras. WTF dude! why?

You still do not get the film quality and the ability to play with the shadows as you do with video

There are now plenty of examples of “professional” film crews by digital cameras, but they’re not the sort of thing you buy at the WalMart.

My digital camera will record digital video as well. I was considering doing some video editing and production as a leisure activity. What is a excellent video editing software for me to use? I have about 1gb of ram and lots of hard drive space as well. That shouldn’t be an issue. Being that I’m new at video editing, im going to want something honestly simple to use, but I dont want anything tacky, I want something professional that produces professional video. I plot on taking the time to learn software and get excellent at video editing. I’m very excellent with by computers and I feel that video editing would help me broaden my horizons as well.
Thanks for the help.

www.clickherephotographytips.com The Fuji G617 Panoramic camera is an absolute pleasure to own and to use, although it does have a few teething problems This camera was first developed in Japan by the Fuji Photo Film Company in 1982 and has the ability to take print or intelligibility film images at a size of 6cm x 17cm which look incredible on a set alight table and much better when you see a print lynching on your wall. The camera accepts film that is generally used in Medium Format cameras like Hasselblad, Rollei etc and is a larger sized film than the traditional 35mm film that many photographers were by before the invention of digital photography. I do not feel that digital photography will result in the demise of film photography, at least not for sometime Moving On The camera accepts two sized of film, really the height of the film remains the same, it is really the digit of photographs available that really makes the difference. For example, on a roll of 120 sized film as a photographer you are limited to four shots per roll, and; on a roll of 220 film you are limited to eight shots per roll. To buy this camera new can be expensive, film is expensive to buy and so are costs involved in processing and printing. But, for some reason I keep coming back to this camera mainly as a result of the quality of the images. They are simply outstanding Admittedly, the camera is generally not used in everyday photography unless of course you are a professional
