Is there a video camera that would have comparable HD video to the Canon 7D?

Is there a video camera that would have comparable HD video to the Canon 7D?

I’m looking for something cheaper, but this quality :

I’d want to be able to selectively focus as you can on the EOS, etc.. basically, give me this quality and look!! (24 fps, etc)

When you encounter such conundrum, you are advised to try this tool: hd converter.
It supports large range HD video and general video formats and all standard players.

And you can also try this: ts or mts video converter.

Amazon – Just got this over Christmas. Its super sweet HD video and the new iLife 09 works fantastic with it. Though I need to get editing, too much footage!

Why does the Canon 5D Mark II’s video look so much better than HD video cameras? They both use the same resolution. Is it the sensors used?

Answer by Small Dog
It depends what you mean by “better”. The video captured by my DV/HDV camcorders looks fantastic.

If you like the “Depth of Field”, that can be done on DSLRs and many high definition camcorders.

I prefer a non-DSLR capture method because of the superior audio capture options built-in when I don’t feel like by an external audio capture device.

If you are comparing the high definition video from the 5D to consumer-grade AVCHD/MTS file quality… well, then that answers THAT question – it is all about video compression.
