Olympus or Canon?

Olympus or Canon?

I am looking for a new digital camera. I cannot choose between the Olympus FE 340 and the Canon Powershot A720. Any suggestions, advice or ratings on either? Thanks alot!

I really like the Canon products better than Olympus having upgrade through a few digital cameras in the past being for myself. I have also used Sony, Nikon, etc…

Simple to use with quality results and the warranty services ain’t terrible. Check consumersearch.com or Consumer Reports for further details. And when you go to buy do shop around for the best deals and talk to the sales rep at a few different seats, which some will make a sweet wrap deal for you like an extra memory card or battery or take in cases.

I’m plotting on export a digital camera, and I’ve lessened it down to two- the Canon powershot A590 and the A1000. Obviously the A1000 is the later model and has 2 more megapixels(10 as opposed to 8). My dilemma is that I like how the A590 looks better, and the online ratings for it are higher– people seem to reckon it’s one of the best cameras in that price range. While the comments on the A1000 are mostly positive, some people felt it had poor battery life and its routine could be better. On the other hand, people may have had higher expectations of the A1000 since it’s naturally more expensive.
Any opinions on which I should buy? They’re the same price at Amazon! Thanks!
