There is no such thing as a digital and film camera. A SLR camera allows you to look directly through the lens when taking a picture. It is much simpler then trying to look at a LCD show in bright sunlight.

I have a Samsung Digimax A7. It records stills and movies, also does independent signal recording (Takes a mini SD expansion card). Its a excellent reliable camera, simple to use and very reasonably priced (mine was just over £100)

There is no ‘digital’ camera that you can also place ‘film’ into … but that’s not ‘really’ what you want, either. I reckon that what you want is a ‘digital camera’ that will also act as a ‘cam-corder’ so you can take both ‘still pictures’ and ‘videos’ (moving pictures). I suggest you get a Canon Sure Shot camera … go to a ‘really excellent camera store’ and question the salesman to show you ‘all of the Canon cameras’ he has within your ‘price range.’ Because you don’t speak English as your ‘first language’ it would be excellent if you could take an ‘interpreter’ with you to ‘turn’ from English to your ‘native language’ …
A Digital SLR camera is just ‘one type’ of Digital camera … and I don’t know what SLR means, nor do I reckon it’s ‘vital’ … what you want to do is take ‘excellent still photos’ and also make ‘small videos’ (films), and most digital cameras do that currently … but I have a Canon because right now that is ‘the best’ for both ‘quality’ and ‘price’ … it’s a ‘tiny bit high’ in price, but not ‘way too high’ for the quality … then it’s ‘really inexpensive’ because the pictures are really GREAT!

digital slr camera buying guide

I bought this book yesterday, and I’m looking forwards to making my way through it. I plot on reading it carefully. Much of it is familiar, but the new bits of knowledge I’ve already picked up are helpful ones. I started a Google Document so that I can keep track of what I’m learning from the book and refer to it as a study guide.

By the end of this year, I intend on being a much better photographer than I now am. That is going to require a lot of practice and a lot of study, and I’m ready for the challenge.

Doubtless at least $ 500+ found it new on amazon for $ 1800
You would doubtless be better off export a newer model like the Nikon D60 which is around that price. There is also the canon xsi…just go with a new one it will save you a lot of hassle. The wrap isn’t a huge deal, as 2gb memory cards are very inexpensive.

Doing some simple research should help you find the perfect dSLR:

You would doubtless be pleased with either of those cameras.
