How do I put the casette in my JVC Digital Video CAmera?

So, I have a JVR Digital Video Camera GR DV500U – and honestlly I’ve never even owned a video camera; so I just ejected the last casette and place a new one in….but I can’t figure out how to make hte mechanism go back in.
Help delight?

Did you read the manual?

If you place the tape in correctly, gently press the tape mechanism and it will close… then close the take in. Don’t just close the take in – you’ll break stuff that way.

learning how to use my video camera!

I have managed to connect everything properly to transfer the video by Windows Movie Maker and even edit everything. But when I get to the part to save it, It starts the process goes to 2% completed and the minutes left to record just keeps together with. How do I get it to save? Or how do I get it to be able to be sent in an email?

Windows Movie Maker is not the program to save your movie but its a program to manipulate your movie…..Have you installed the software that came with your camera…You should be able to save through that software…Or try connecting your camera through USB cable and your cameras memory should show up as another drive in “My Computer”….Open that and then cut or copy and paste or save it wherever you want it.

What do you reckon? Answer below!

It’s a nice upgrade in features over my Kodak Zi6 (and erstwhile Aiptek A-HD+) and an affordable price. It has very excellent stereo signal, silent operation, and excellent low set alight sensitivity (although the colors wash out, as you’d expect from a small single CCD camera). It has brilliant zoom, a nice array of manual controls, and supports up to 16 GB SDHC cards. I still like my Kodak Zi6 and will continue to use it for some videos, but the JVC’s extra flexibility will allow me to produce better results when the Kodak’s limitations would get in the way of making a excellent video.
