Answer by nataliexoxo
not sure what your budget is but i have a sony cybershot and it is awesome.
it was only $ 130.
they sell them at walmart i reckon.
just keep an eye out for sales and question the associates to clarify the differences in models to you
don’t forget to buy a memory card bcse most cameras don’t hold alot of pics.
we got a 1gb from walmart for $ 40

Answer by VINTAGE MUSIC
Possibly Walmart, Best Buy, Target and Circuit City. On line Beach Camera, B&H Photo, Adorama, Abe’s of Maine.
Possibly the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 would be a decent choice.

Wali-world does have alot you might need? It might be the simplest house so far or you can shop around with electronics somewhere else?

Answer by Princess LovAngel
no matter what camera u get they will still be pricey its hard to find something excellent for an inexpensive price. try wal-mart if u reckon they will give u a excellent deal. or best buy

Answer by kella l
Sony and Kodak both have fantastic digital cameras for decent prices for their quality, Walmart is doubtless the cheapest house to go but I really despise that house! I go there everyweek to shop so I know the prices are fantastic but quality and walmart just don’t necessarly fit together in the same sentence. Best Buy or some house like that are doubtless the best seats to go but it depends on your budget, they aren’t necessarily more expensive but they might have something different to make it more expensive.

okay so I was browsing the digital cameras walmart had and I saw one that cost 39 bucks. In the description it says it needs 2 AA 1.5v alkaline batteries. Well I have 4 rechargeable energizer batteries that are 1.2 volts and it’s NIMH not alkaline. Is it not compatible? what would happen if I place the ones I have and not the alkaline?

Answer by KNDChicago
Usually the AA Hi-Mh batteries will work as a replacement for alkalines even with the slightly lower voltage. If you try it the worst that would happen is they wont run the camera. No hurt will be done to the camera or the batteries.

You may also be able to use AA lithium batteries which are 1.5v but these are expensive and not rechargeable. Hardly worth the cost for a $ 39 camera.

You could visit the manufacturers website first to see if they specify alkalines absolutely must be used.
