How do i change the format of a kodak digital camera to be compatible with windows movie maker?

My camera is kodak the format says movie or “mov” and it wont upload videos on windows movie maker so how do i exchange it

wmmaker supports a limited array of record formats and mov isn’t one of these
- convert file to avi or wmv…try Prism or Super
- edit the convert file

I have a digital camera which is a kodak cx4230 and i need a battery door. The one on there is broke and doesn’t hold the batteries in. I have gone to the kodak website and they don’t offer parts for this camera anymore as it is an older camera. I have also tried ebay and Craig’s list. May maybe someone recomend a website where i might find such a part?

I highly doubt you would find one anywhere – in fact, I reckon you’d be lucky if you may maybe even get one through Kodak themselves. It seems these days we just throw stuff out, and hardly ever repair much

Perhaps one option would be to search for an ancient, broken camera just like yours….. if all you need is the battery door, it wouldn’t matter, right?

The ancient 2MP CX4230 was unrestricted in early 2002!!!!!
Just buy a new one…
