Nikon Coolpix s210 camera- a few questions..?

I have the purple Nikon Coolpix S210 Camera. It’s not the best camera, but at least I have it, and it’s cute.

I was wondering if there was a way to lock your photos on it, so they couldn’t be deleted?

Also, my camera suddenly stopped making the “babaclick” sound when I take pictures. Now, it only makes the click sound, if any.

Anyone with experience or tips for this camera? Thanks a million!

If you are despondent with it in the first place try returning it for another camera.

Your photos automatically stay in there because they run ona memory card. Unless when you are uploading photos into your computer from it, and you choose “erase after uploading” they will no long be there. But memory cards can hold up to like 600 pics i reckon so no worries.

If you want to exchange what sound it makes, go to the menu, tools, main settings, and then the shutter sounds.

I reckon I am deciding between these two cameras, but I need more opinions/experiences.
Does the Nikon have a Macro background?

Also- if you have better suggestions, please let me know.

My recommendation for a perfect slim camera with excellent optical zoom with ability to record quality movie clips is Casio Exilim EX-V8 but it is more expensive!
