waterproof camera got water in it help!!?

so i have an olympus blue digital waterproof camera. this past february i dropped it in my indoor pool(so the bottom is very hard) and theres a small small crack at the top of the back screen like when you look at your photos and to look at to tale a picture. it was been working just fine untill about 3 weeks ago. i went to the beach with my school and my friend wanted to take pictures in the water. every since then it hasnt worked at all. the lense is all fogged up and theres a lot of buttons i cant use like the delete button, the button to look at my photos, and a lot more. july 2nd i went to a concert and during the concert the camera just stopped wprking and went all crazy. the zoom button wouldnt unzoom and it wouldnt record. i have been putting it in rice but only a small. its much more apparent and i record but thats only it. on wednesday, i took it in my club’s pool and it just shut down. the front lense wnt close and i cant even turn it on. i place it in the rice again but nothing worked. 10 mins ago i saw the crackk and i stared pushing on the screen and water came out. i wish it would get fixed because im going to a red sox game on sunday but i know its not gonna work. but can you guys still please help?? thank;)

this happened with a cell phone of mine (i know it’s not a camera but) the guy said it just took a while for the water hurt to work it’s “magic” ahaa… i mean MAYBE keeping it in the rice will help but i dunnnnoo. i reckon it’s done for! my phone was exactly the same as your camera sounds and one day it just quit. sorry.

If it’s still under water restore it or get in touch with Olympus.

I agree, this is a ultra durable, and waterproof camera as Olympus says, call and tell them it got hurt on what says it is waterproof, and durable. Water got through the crack I suppose.

Is the fujifilm better than Olympus? I’d like to make sure that it takes quality phots bothe under water and out o the water and battery life is vital to me. I’d like to keep it aroun 200 or less, any suggestions?

There is a waterproof record and still here: http://www.rsoelectronics.com/vistaquest-dv800hd-camcorder-p-2605.html for a bit under $ 200 after you convert it, and considering it takes record too, but im not too sure about the brand you might need to research the brand. Excellent Luck

The Vivitar camera for $ 99.95 is an awesome price for a camera that takes still and record. Life that you will take it underwater, I would add coverage to it.
