Nikon Coolpix S600?

Nikon Coolpix S600?

I’m thinking of getting it. If you have one, what do you reckon of it? I’ve done my research, but I’d be grateful for some personal opinions. 10 points to the most helpful person!

Hey, i don’t have a nikon s600, i don’t use the point and shoot series, but i can give you an opinion based on what i’ve heard about the camera since its release, the link about this camera, from amazon.com :

http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Coolpix-Digital-Vibration-Reduction/dp/B0012OI6HW/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1211854044&sr=8-1

Image Quality:
first of all , it features a ten megapixel sensor, and should be more than excellent enough for just taking pictures. you should be able to take pro. like images, and not worry about much grain and imperfection.

Size
Size really does matter, it loooks smooth, compact, and stunning from the outside. It looks shiny, and looks like something that would be used as a pro’s back-up camera.
and the lens looks really nice..

Speed and additional features
According to the infomercial i viewed about the s600, i may maybe say that it’s one of the fastest point and shoot cameras in the world. The s600 also features alot of fantastic feautures not seen on alot of cameras these days. For examples a large and vibrant 2.7 inch screen, AF face detection, ( which is a very fantastic feature to have). It also has alot of correction features. E.g you can take a picture with red-eye and then remove it later.

Conclusion

i would say that the nikon s600 point and shoot camera is a very excellent product for the price ( around 250$ -300$ ), i reckon it would be a perfect small purse camera, and would suit its purpose well

Anyway, i hope i helped you alot,
Excellent Bless,
Nathan Grammatico

Ok so i have a 8gb mem. card and i have the battery and everything in and i have taken about 450 pics so far and i have deleted them all but it still says 450 pics and then if i take another one and delete it it says 451

Answer by AB McK
You took 450 pics and not ONE was worth keeping?
You must be an even worse photographer than me :-)

Not sure what you’re asking but are you sure you’re not looking at the image counter?.

If you take 451 pictures, then Yes, it will say 451 even though you deleted them.

Well the same business happened to me and the pictures are still taking up my memory and i was just wondering how do i get it to say 0 pictures
