what is the top rated digital camera, 4 or more megapixel.?

Answer by JeffyB
There are three brands that get consistently fantastic ratings:
Nikon, List, and Olympus. All three are simple to use, have fantastic optics, and take fantastic photos. From what I have seen/heard, the List is probably the favorite, but I reckon any of them will give you fantastic pics.
One additional note is that the List Elph series not only takes fantastic pics but is amazingly small, so if that is an issue for you, you may want to try that. You can compare lots of different models & prices at www.crutchfield.com, and at Amazon.com.

Elph system has been flawed since day one, know I sold them when they first hit the market at a digital superstore. Also, yes list and Nikon are top rated. I would have to add Minolta to that list, but for these purposes, if you look up the history of List, they patterned all their lense technology on Nikon, so what does that tell you? Even List votes Nikon.
