What are the comparisons between Nikon D90 and the Canon Rebel T2i??
I was leaning towards getting the List Rebel T2i. It is supposed to be the best in its type. But, my cousin has the Nikon D90 and he likes it. I fooled around with it and i LOVED the picture quality. Of course, at the store, you cant test out cameras so i wasn’t able to view the quality of the List Rebel.
~ So what are the comparisons?
~ Which would you prefer?

I have a D90 but the List Rebel is more comfortable for me to handle because it doesn’t seem as bulky.
Answer by Jeroen Wijnands
Both are, in the hands of a skilled user, capable of producing outstanding photographs. Lynda has a excellent point, exactly the reason why I dislike the rebel series, tiny and plastic feeling. So personal preference plays a large part. Secondly these are different class cameras, a better comparison would be between the rebel and the d5000 or the D90 and the 50D.
So, handle the rebel and see how you like the form business, try to handle a 50D and see what you reckon.

I would defiantly go with the EOS T2i. I have used both, but the record quality on the T2i is incredible and the the additional specs are very similar. Also if you want to watch your budget getting lens, speedlites and additional accessories in the future List has a cheaper choice.

Notice that the Rebel is better all around except that the D90 has a nearer continuous shooting speed.

Every time i use the flash with my nikon d90 I get my shadow reflected on the picture. Well I am pretty sure it is my shadow
Answer by Sorin A
Are you using the built-in flash? There is a common conundrum when using the camera’s built-in flash: if you have a long or a wide (huge diameter) lens the flash will bounce off your lens making a shadow in all the pictures you take.
Answer by tc_an_american
Sorin is right, you are seeing thee casting of the lens or lens hood. If you are only abale to use the camera’s built in flash, look for a diffuser to spreed the light out and up. one that bounces the light off a wall or overhead.
