How long will my battery on my digital camera last if it is fully charged?

This is my camera. It came with a battery. I am wondering how long it will last with its battery fully charged.

Have you bothered to read your manual? They usually answer such questions.
Casio says it will do 210 still images. I found that very quickly on their website, another place you may maybe look for answers.

Cameras that use Li-ion batteries have a few benefits over others. 1) the hold their charges longer than NiMH batteries and 2) can last up to 5 years.

Just fully charge it the night before you intend to go shooting.

The life of the battery charge will depend on how you use the camera. This camera has lots of in camera edit functions and no optical view finder so the camera may maybe be in constant use with some of these functions. The only way to know for sure is to check the time with a practice run. If you are plotting something, you may maybe need an extra battery and charger unless you have time to charge in the camera. Persons batteries and chargers may maybe be expensive.

The best way to preserve the charge is to limit review/control and perform these functions later in the computer. You may have distress seeing the LCD screen in bright sun, but this seems like a really nice camera. The more you know about the camera, the better pictures you will be able to take. SD Memory Card 1GB*1 Approx. 210 shots (Fine) / 393 shots (Normal) / 579 shots (Economy)
This is the number of shots with a 1GB*1 SD Approx., but this has nothing to do with the maximum time your battery will last.

You should learn the Approx. time the charge will last and how long it will take to recharge. The best way to know this is to make a test run. The source link does not apply to your battery, but there may be something there that will help.

NiMH batteries can last more than five years if not overcharged. These are the same type batteries used in most Hybrid cars e.g. the Toyoto Prius.

CAUTION Do not overcharge … batteries can be severely hurt.
