Need help chosing economical digital camera for indoor use! Please help?
I have been looking for -ages- and all I seem to get are mixed reviews.
My price range is 100-300USD for a excellent camera.
I need Image Stabilization, a decent Macro Feature and ABOVE ALL ELSE HIGH QUALITY IMAGES IN POORER LIGHTING. Indoors and the like. I will be using it for quicker face shots and family photos for sharing online.
I have have searched all over the place and I have started looking into List SD1000 and I was recommended List SD870. SD1000 does not have Image Stabilization though, and the main reason why I’m looking at list so much is because there are so many to chose from it’s hard to widen my search even further by searching for additional brands! (I’ve spent so much time just comparing List)
I’ll accept any brand though, as long as it has HIGH quality pictures at 100% resolution. Compact digital cameras only. Smaller the better.
Zoom not a priority, most images will be shot without zoom in an low ISO like 80.

Image stabilization is overrated. the List SD1000 is a fantastic camera for the price. And i’ve tried many types of cameras, fugi, nikon, kodak, HP(sh*t),and samsung.
List is simply the best.

As soon as I get one of these I will include a review here.
I’m looking to buy a digital camera that is small and relatively cheap, like the Nikon S220:
http://www.target.com/Nikon-10-0MP-Compact-Digital-Camera/dp/B001PKAG1C/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=0&searchView=grid5&refinementHistory=subjectbin,target_com_age,target_com_gender-bin,target_com_character-bin,price,target_com_primary_color-bin,target_com_size-bin,target_com_brand-bin&searchNodeID=1038576&field_launch-date=-1y&searchRank=target104545&keywords=nikon%20digital%20camera&searchPage=2&field_browse=1038576&searchSize=30&field_keywords=nikon%20digital%20camera&field_availability=-2
But the reviews there are mixed and I’m unsure if this is a camera that would brake in the first month.
What additional cameras do you recommend? or brands that you like?

Most named cameras are pretty competively priced, if they are junk they don’t last in the market place long. Nikon has been doing cameras forever, brilliant opticics. Look at additional name brand in the same price range, you will likely find about the same quality.

Your question is very very superficial.
Choosing a camera is a business primarily related to too many factors.
These include (but not limited to) your requirement, – armature or professional, your skill set level -novice, professional, the shooting environment, budget etc.
First jot down your requirements, priorities them, place a cap for budget and the process will be more simpler.
