I have an ATI RADEON X800 PRO PCI-E. On CNET it says that it is a DDR3 SDRAM card. I have DDR2, will it work?

I have an ATI RADEON X800 PRO PCI-E. On CNET it says that it is a DDR3 SDRAM card. I have DDR2, will it work?

Also, does anyone know if it possible? Also, is this card unlcockable? I have not installed the card yet. I am coming up on my new motherboard to come. Thankyou!

um the ram doesnt go with your gaphics card i need to know about your motherboard

It sounds like they are describing the type of ram on the record card. Not what you need on your motherboard.

These don’t have to be the same.

Just make sure your motherboard has a PCI-E slot.

graphics card and computer ram are 2 differnt things, yes it will work.
