How do I delete all the pictures from my memory card on an Olympus C60 digital camera at the same time?

ok it’s like this: when i fist got a 1 gb memory card for the camera it worked fine. later on though it would periodically take me to a setup menu with the options of formatting the card or turning off the power. when i would format it though it would just say card error and the camera wouldn’t work unless i took the card out. then the card would do this all the time and i could never get any use out of it. i thought that possibly the card was hurt so i bought a new 512 mb card and it’s doin the exact same thing and hasn’t worked at all. the camera works fine without a memory card but i need space to store more pictures. am i doing something incorrect, am i not inserting the card right or what? delight help me if you can.

possibly it is the incorrect size

Try reformating the card & if that dont work try by the card to store picture files from your PC. If it’s not that I’d suspect the camera.

If you have tried both cards and both do the same it is the camera. Something is incorrect with the card reader in the camera. you need to contact Olympus 1-888-553-4448 and they can email you all the repair info
