which camera is better?

i wanted a new cam. for Christmas; and i want one of these two,

the conundrum is ; idk which one is better quality wise because i dont know this megapixel, digital/optical zoom business. So based on the info agreed in these descriptions, which one has better quality pics/videos? thank you!

I like Nikon and List

Nikon has excellent lenses, the color of pictures you take would be natural.
List’s lenses are not as excellent as Nikon’s, but your pictures would still be excellent
One more excellent business of List is that it always has new technologies in its every harvest.

But if I have to choose, I’m choosing SONY, it has larger resolution than Samsung.

In zoom they are pretty much the same. Neither has a very huge zoom at all. Ignore digital zoom, only pay attention to optical zoom. Digital zoom is the same as cropping on your computer.

The duel view is pretty unpleasant. I have not heard anything excellent about it, quality wise. The powershot has been a trusted name for many years.

you want something more like this if you want superzoom. The ones you showed have 4X zoom. That is 30-120; about across the room. These ones have up to 28X zoom. That’s 30-840! You can zoom in on a bird’s face.

a. The Samsung Dual View 12.2 MP (megapixels) Digital Camera – Red has a much clearer view of the things you will capture because it is .1 MP more than the Sony Cyrbershot 12.1 MP

b. The Sony Cybershot has more capacity of Digital zoom.

c. The Samsung Dual View has more capacity of Optical Zoom.

i can say that the Samsung Dual View is better.

I bought the Samsung TL 220 and just like it. It takes excellent and apparent pictures. And has so many features that the additional cameras don’t have. I have not had any problems with my camera and would highly recommend this camera to all camera lovers. Only one small downfall, the battery goes quicker than additional cameras but I assume that is because it is all touchscreen and would drain the battery quicker. Additional than that I like it.

what brands should i buy? my friend said that sony is the best…how about samsung or list, are they also excellent?

here is a excellent one just around $ 50 above your budget but well worth the $ .Really I have found the all around best camera for the Money is the Cannon SD600 or higher! it is only about 1/2 inch thick and is perfectly rectangular with no eerie shapes (so it will fit in your pocket or where on earth without allot of bulkiness') which makes it simple to take around places. The zoom is pretty darn excellent! And it takes brilliant Macro shots (close up magnified) it also has action so you can take pictures of someone running without coming up for the shutter and the digital camera to reset for the next picture. In addition it has real excellent record & has excellent battery life & upgradeable SD memory slot. yeah there are additional cameras but I travel allot for work and it is fantastic to just slip this baby in my front pocket take with me sightseeing or to work and I hardly know I have it on me which also works fantastic cause what public don't see they wont try to steal in public like persons cameras you always have to hang from your wrist or shoulder like a purse! Check the camera out on the web or at Best Buy or Circuit City or something yourself. The SD model is the best and the 600 is 6.0 Mega pixels 3x zoom with 10X digital zoom. If you go with a model larger than 600 the camera remains the same but the pixel rating goes up! Now about the price I paid $ 260 for the camera 6 months ago at circuit city I bought a 2 year no questions questioned warranty replacement for around $ 50 more. So the way I see it in the next 2 years I accidentally drop the camera I go back to Circuit city and they give me a gift card for $ 250 & I upgrade to the new model and pay the difference…..what a deal! $ 150 to $ 200 and don’t forget the all vital memory card still has to be bought.

Circuit City and Best Buy are both excellent places to look and you should be able to find a excellent quality camera in your price range at any one of persons store. As far as compact digital cameras List has the best image quality. The powershot A550 is a fantastic compact camera and is right within your price range. It has 7.1 megapixels and over ten different shooting modes including: likeness, beach, fireworks, snow, night scene and more. The self timer has both 2 sec. and 10 sec. delay options as well as a custom option to allow you to choose your own time. It comes with two rechargeable AA batteries and an AC adapter. Even though I personally own this ultra compact camera, I would still like to highly recommend the hold of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the later reasons:
