where can i find a book on all digital cameras?

I want to find a book that covers all digital cameras made and mentions what type of media card used, statics, etc. Does anyone know of a particular book. For example: A book may maybe tell the product of the cmr’s camera and whether it requires a SDHC card or a basic SD card.

I not recall any single book delicate for that. but some camera year book or electronic year book may have a long list of cameras and their specifications listed. otherwise, u may need to do a search on internet for each models (but it’s free).

oh… try www.dpreview.com and they have nearly all the camera info there.

What image formats do digital cameras usually take pictures in?

Usually JPEGs, but higher end cameras will take them in RAW format unless you specify otherwise.

Most take them in .jpg format. Some of the pricier cameras also use .RAW format.
