what lens should i get for nikon D50?

i have about $ 120 to buy a lens for a Nikon D50. what would be the best choice? the D50 has the built in AF motor. What about a sigma lens? eBay lenses in mint condition?

Since the D50 can use any lenses from the AI to current state of the art AF-S lenses, see if you can find a excellent Nikkor 50 mm f/1.4 lens.

I would avoid generic lenses, but more over, I would avoid camera gear sold on eBay. There are too many public dumping junk there.

Look on craigslist in a city near you for lenses. At least that way, you can test the lens before you hand over your money

That budget probably won’t do it. My recommendation is always buy new. Used you never know what you’re getting – may maybe indeed be junk.

A very excellent all around lens is a 28-200. Versatile for persons wide shots but has a pretty excellent reach.

I have had excellent experience with Sigma but also with Tamron lenses made to work with Nikon so you may want to check your option with Tamron.

Also, eBay can have deals but check the new and used options at excellent photo dealers, I listed some links below that may be of interest.

Naaaaaa Tamron 70-300 Handled – Iso auto (forgot the tripod) Nikon D50.

It is the rubber from below my thumb [on the back of the camera] and now it is not tighten any more. Can I glue it? What glue should I use not to ruin the plastic?

and question them for a excellent glue for plastic
