What is the best digital camera for an "idiot" user?
“idiot” just earnings not technically sloping person. Not necessarily stupid. Just not a computer type.
What is the best digital camera for these type of public?
Thanks
preferrably it should have only 2 buttons: on/off and shoot
Answer by NoraCat
I would recommend a Kodak digital camera, one of the simpler, lower-priced ones.

Nearly any camera sold now is idiot proof. Just place it on automatic and let the camera do all the work. You didn’t say how much you want to spend. I’d check out a join camera like the Fujifilm S1800. Not a terrible small camera. Once you feel more comfortable with it, it has features for a more advanced user.

Fuji Film A170.
Not only cheap but comes with basic simple features and produce excellent quality picture.
I bought one for my young nephew (12 years ancient) and he set it to natural light (day time) and auto for night shoot. He took many excellent pictures even if he is not a very bright kid.

The List PowerShot SD1200IS is a fantastic small camera that is 10 megapixel, plenty of resolution to shoot about anything and get large prints…bought one my wife who is not excellent with gadgets and she likes it. It’s about $ 150 if I remember right. I did reasonably a bit of research and this one excellent really excellent ratings.

I have an interest in photography and want to know what would be the best digital camera to get. I have a Sony Cybershot but I’m ready for an upgrade. I’m on a budget though. I’m willing to invest $ 450 for starters. Thanks!

The Nikon D40 is a fantastic digital camera for amateurs, and it fits your budget. I use a Nikon D40X which is more expensive, but I reckon you’ll like the D40. Check it out.

Get a Nikon D40.
Don’t go for D40X or D60 since D40 has some very excellent advantages over these models. D40 has better noise performance and the flash Sync speed is a huge plus. The price is nice too.

Nikon D40 is fantastic choice for your budget.
