card error on my digital video camera?

when i press record it always says card error. sometimes it does and somethimes it doesnt. its random. its a groundbreaking new card and groundbreaking new camera, its a samsung (if that makes a difference) and the card is only a 4gb so its not to huge for it. HELP ME PLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May maybe be a “lemon” SD card or camera. Have you tried a different card?

Maybe there is a fault with the card reader in the camera. Take it to a camera/repair shop and question about the conundrum. Excellent luck.
