What's the best website to buy Canon zoom lenses at a reasonable price?

I bought a List Powershot S3 IS at best buy a couple months back. And now I want a List Rebel XTi.

What I want to know is can I take my S3 IS back to best buy, and upgrade it for a XTi?

Like what I mean is instead of having to pay $ 900 for the XTi, can I just pay $ 600?

I know you can do that with cell phones, but I don’t know about Cameras.

Best Buy won’t take the camera back, since you’ve had it over 30 days. And even if you’d brought it back before the 30 day period, they’d charge you a 15% refill fee.

“We accept returns or exchanges 30 days from the first hold.”
“A restocking fee of 15% will be charged on opened notebook computers, projectors, camcorders, digital cameras, radar detectors, GPS/navigation and in-car record systems unless defective or prohibited by law.”

Best Buy will be glad to sell you an XTi for full price (or quote a sale price) but they won’t take a trade. Your best option would be to sell the S3 privately. Look in your community Craigslist for someone in your area who’s looking for a camera.

Since it is past the 30 restore policy, Best Buy won’t take back the camera you have. They do not have a system for doing upgrades for cameras or any electronics. Your best bet would be to try to sell it on ebay or craigslist. I would not buy an XTi from Best Buy. You can get a better price online at reputable supplies like B&H or Adorama. They will offer you the best price, have fantastic customer service and sometimes have refurbished or demo models for sale for a lot less. Unfortunately, persons supplies don’t have a camera upgrade system any, but they may be willing to buy the camera you have now and take the price off an XTi.
