In a Canon(powershot) digital camera,which video mode is clear and better between the PAL and NTSC? plz help?

please give the details of these 2 modes…..and tell their difference……and also recommend which mode to use where and when…..thanks a ton..

The camera will record record according to it specification like VGA (640 x480), HD (1280 x720), or Full HD (1920 x1080), so the quality of the record is dependent on the capability of the camera. NTSC and PAL only come into play when you want to view the videos or pictures on our TV. NTSC and PAL refer to TV signaling and not the quality of the record or picture showed. NTSC is primarily a North America standard and PAL is primarily a European standard. Where they differ is in the number lines and signal frequency, which when comparing the two is very minuscule. The only vital business to remember is that all TV’s in the US are NTSC and in Europe they are PAL, so where to use them is where you are when you want to view your videos or pictures off the camera.

You mean, which is Clearer: PAL or NTSC. Right?

These are for Record Output to your TV.
* Now, these are Dependant on which Country your in.

• NTSC is Specific to the US & Canada.
• PAL is for Europe, and additional Countries.

So if you Live in the US or Canada, set it to NTSC!! ;D

I was wondering cause i have a really excellent digital camera but my webcam is sucky

Yes, web cams are very low quality and that is why they work. Attempting to spill high quality images over the Internet is problematic.

There is no provision to use cameras of the quality of your SD750 to spill record. And of course after only a few hours, your camera’s battery will fail .. the end. Your “sucky” web cam is powered by the computer
